What do I have against myself?

Since I've been on this Zig Ziglar audio book bus for a long time (until the time my phone got broken and the Samsung batch recorder/mp3 player stopped functioning and while I'm still pondering on buying an iPod classic-post bday gift for myself candidate), I might as well share another one of the notable topics he discussed on one of his talks.

Clue: It's the title of this note.

What do I have against myself?

How about you, do you have anything against yourself?

No, this does not pertain to a very deep emotional wound that some of you may still be nursing, a frustration that you just can't let go off, a disappointment that you just can't overcome- No, you might read that from another post- but not this one. (and also, watch out for that from another person- :D - not from me-I'm aware of all the negativity- but I'd like to attract the positive ones- try it. You'll love it, it's delightful).

Zig Ziglar asked his audience, what would they do with thousand dollar horse? a hundred dollar cat? a ten dollar puppy?

Would you feed them junk food? fast food? Would you let them drink alcohol? Do drugs or smoke? Would you tire them out completely and play with them till the wee hours and not even give them enough sleep to face another day of your torturous play time?

Would you do the same to a billion dollar body? (long pause after this question, ponder on it a bit more)

What do you have against yourself?

You are born to be a winner. You are born to live your dreams, to see your visions right before you, materializing, one by one (a lot at one time- give and take), and to achieve each and everyone of your goals (maybe not ALL, but ALL that God has mapped out for his plan for your life).

Take control. Live your life to the fullest. (insert 10 more Best Motivating Quotes from Awesome People for the Last Century)

All the thousands of quotes that we hear, read and see everyday (some of which I repeat over and over to myself). They are all true. Because all of them work accordingly with God's magnificent plan for you.

In all things, persevere,
