Massive Actions

July 10, 2010

Saturday

13:40

I'm inside my therapy room right now and I decided to write my daily reflection since I missed my chance this morning and I wasn't able to jog also because I woke up at 6:25am. Yes, even in my first sentence, I HAVE SO MANY EXCUSES. I could've jogged if only slept earlier. I could've written down my reflection for the day if I stopped, and gave the 15min session I have for myself to reflect on where I am now, what am I doing with my life and in what direction I want it to go.

So many excuses, that even myself, am aware, are only minions of procrastination.

You haven't done the dishes? Prepared your clothes for the out of town trip? Haven't payed the bills? All these are excuses that each and everyone of us encounter. But what about the excuses that are hindering me from being a successful real estate investor? What's my excuse about this now?

Anthony, are you aware of what you are doing to yourself?

You are slowly killing your future, shortening its life time, a future wherein you and your family as well as thousands of people you can help are financially free and literate.

Do you really want to let all those people down? Are you really going to let yourself down?

I didn't mean for my first daily reflection to be a scolding but I'm just glad I decided to go through with this. I looked at the time and I still have 7 minutes before my 15 minute "me time" is over. My point is, I know you are scared of what might happen! I know I'm scared of what will happen to the future. I will be successful, but it also entails that I take care of far greater responsibilities than what I'm handling right now.

On my way to the clinic, I told Jep, "How come we talk about getting involved in the stock market? Starting our own business? Doing real estate and putting up our own clinic? " And she said, "That's true, is this normal?". "I don't think the rich people do just normal things, they do extraordinary things that's why they are rich" I replied. Then I told her, "You know what, rich people don't consider what they do on a day-to-day basis extraordinary, what poor people consider extraordinary, I just plain simple and normal to the rich. That's the difference between the poor and the rich, the rich ACT while the poor do not".

Take all the time that you need to figure out what you are doing and what you want to do. You have to take MASSIVE ACTIONS now. And yes, I could not emphasize on the time frame enough;

TAKE MASSIVE ACTIONS NOW.

In all things, persevere,

Anthony Verrick Dones
